The Fr. Deignan Scholarship
The Fr. Deignan Scholarship is a two year scholarship awarded to students who are accepted to a Junior College or a 4 year university here in the United States. The scholarship will provide assistance for a period of two years to students on a need basis and is open to graduates from both WYHK and WYK. This round of application is for the academic year 2015 – 2016 and this we will be looking for recent graduates from WY who is currently in the US or who plans to come to the US this spring term. Those who have plans to come to the US in fall 2017 should wait until next year.

Hong Kong Schools Alumni Federation Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt organization incorporated in California, USA in 1996. Our mission is to encourage and to support qualified top students from Hong Kong who are in financial need to attend undergraduate studies in US universities.
Under our HKSAF Scholarship program established in 1997, close to 40 awards have been made to students from Hong Kong to attend some of the best colleges in the US. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDYING IN ALL COUNTRIES
Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES)
The Education Bureau (EDB) has announced that the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES) will, from now until December 31, be open for applications from eligible Hong Kong students who intend to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at world-renowned universities outside Hong Kong starting from the 2017/18 academic year. Selection will be based on academic achievements and other attributes such as leadership qualities and potential as well as contribution and commitment to society.
Under the HKSES, all awardees will receive a non-means-tested scholarship to cover their tuition fees, subject to a ceiling of HK$250,000 per annum, whichever is lower. In addition, a means-tested bursary will be granted to students who may need additional support to pursue their studies, subject to a ceiling of HK$200,000 per student per annum. The value of the award will be correspondingly reduced if an awardee also receives other awards or assistance to finance his or her same studies overseas.
