Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)
Established in 1784, RCSI is an independent, not-for-profit, institution with an exclusive focus on the
healthcare sciences. It offers three undergraduate programmes from its Dublin headquarters –
Medicine, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy – and undergraduate medicine in Bahrain, Penang, and
Kuala Lumpur.
The medical school is the largest medical school in Ireland and one of the largest international
medical schools in Europe. There are over 60 nationalities represented in the student body of the
school and almost 4,000 students across 4 campuses.
